While we do not currently have built in Gift Certificates in StyleSeat, you can make any of your standard services a Prepaid Gift Service. We are actively working on adding Gift Cards and other payment options for customers who want to support you during this time. Until then, we’ve outlined how to add a Prepaid Gift Certificate offering to your Service Menu below!

Add a new “Prepaid Gift Services” category to the Service Menu

  • Go to your “Profile” and click on “MANAGE SERVICE MENU”.
  • Click on “Add” in Service Menu.
  • Click on “New Category” and add a “Prepaid Gift Services” category.

Add services as “Prepaid Gift Services”

  • Go to your “Profile” and click on “MANAGE SERVICE MENU”.
  • Click on “Add” and click on “New Service” or “New Combined Service”, depending on what you want to add prepaid services for.
  • Chose and add the services. [They can be same services as what are already in the services menu].
  • In the below example, the Pro added the same services again.
  • To change it to a prepaid gift service, click on the service and it will open the “Edit Service” form.
  • Click on the “Service Name” and edit the title to add “Gift Card” or price change like “$200 for $300 tattoo service”.
  • Edit the price, duration and turn on “AND UP” [All optional] to reflect your gift card price and duration.
  • Click on the Category and Chose “Prepaid Gift Services“.
  • Click “Save”.
  • Edit more services and add under the “Prepaid Gift Services” category.

Check the Prepaid Gift services on your profile

  • All Pre paid gift services will be now listed under Prepaid Gift Services category

Reach out to clients to book these Prepaid gift services

  • Clients can book these services for current or any available future date which can be checked out immediately as soon as they are booked.
    • Future dated Appointments can be moved to current date and checked out OR
    • Click on “Request Payment” in appointment form for future dated appointments in the appointment modal and clients will get a SMS/Email to pay for the appointment.
  • We recommend that you send a note to your clients notifying them of their ability to do this.
  • We have found that many clients are supportive in this time and will purchase services ahead of time or buy gift certificates to be used at a later time.

Managing the Prepaid gift services

  • Notes can be added to appointments or clients for future references.

Appointment Notes :

  • Open the appointment and click on the “Add Notes”.
  • Add a necessary note related to that appointment if needed and save it.

Client Notes :

  • Clients profile can be visited under “Clients”.
  • Click on the client’s profile.
  • Click on Add Note.
  • Add a note about what prepaid services are due for a client and save it.

Checkout the Prepaid service appointment

  • Checkout the appointment once all the notes are in place to schedule the future appointments.
  • Continue editing the “client notes” in future to reflect the correct state of pending or scheduled appointments.
