Double Booking

Hey Guys!

If you want to double book an appointment during another appointment StyleSeat’s Scheduler gives you the freedom to book an appointment whenever you want!

Lets say you have an appointment for a color but you want to squeeze in a haircut while the color is setting. Simply go to your Scheduler and find the Color appointment.

Then click on the time you want to start the Haircut Service. Fill our the information for the appointment and you will see it appear right next to your original appointment.

You can also set up your services with Power Booking so that they automatically leave padding time when you or clients book them online. Find out How Power Booking Works Here!

How to Set Up Power Booking

Power booking: this is a feature that lets you book an appointment during another appointment while your other client is processing.

Appointment Padding: This is a feature that lets you add a 10/15 minute time slot after appointments that require clean up time.

Set the Length!

Power Booking

  • Length: This is the time it takes for the initial service ONLY. For example: If your service is “color” you would mark the “Length” as 60 min (the initial time spent applying foil to a client) then add in the processing, finishing, and clean up times after
  • Processing: This is the times you have available while your client is waiting (i.e. hair color is setting)
  • Finishing: This is the time you will be back with your client completing the service (i.e. taking foils out, blow dry)
  • Clean Up: This is the time you set aside to clean up in preparation for your next client

For example if someone booked this service at 10:00am it will block off 30 minutes then make 30 minutes available then block off 30 minutes to finish up and 15 minutes to clean up. Here is what a client trying to book an appointment would see:

So if they wanted to book a service with you at 10:30am that is only 30 minutes or less they could still book it even though another client has booked a service at 10:00am that lasts over an hour!
