Require clients to provide a credit card to book online

We now offer the option to hold credit cards when clients book appointments with you online. Now you can dodge all those pesky last minute cancelations! 

Join StyleSeat Premium to get access! This feature is available in the Scheduler and Deluxe packages. 

Here’s how it works:

Head to “My Home/Settings/Online Booking”. Where it says “Require clients to provide a credit card to book”, click the “yes” button.

Scroll down and hit “save”. Now your clients will have to enter a credit card to book with you online! Here’s what it looks like as a client:

1. The client will click the”Book Me Button and go through the booking process as usual

2. Once they enter their info and click “Book Now”, the credit card holding screen will appear

Once the client fills out their info, they can click “Book appointment” and their appointment will be booked. *Each client will only have to enter their credit card once. 

Note: This is an early version of this feature. We will continue to make improvements in future versions. For now, we do not charge the client’s credit card, this feature is strictly to deter clients from booking no-show appointments and canceling last minute. You can not access client credit card information for now, but their info is being stored, and you will be able access it in later versions.
